Student life sports
Men`s Soccer
Metrorez FC is a team established in the year 2019, based in PE central. They have achieved a lot since 2019 till this day. In 2019 they became 2nd in NMU premier residence league and NMU champ top 8. In 2022 they became NMU champion top 8 and resumed 5th in the NMU premier residence league of 25 teams. In 2023Â they won the NMU eater tournament champions and SRC champion. They came in 4th in the NMU premier Res league and went to semi finals in top 8.

Tebro FC was established in the year 2023 and they are currently on the 2nd place for NMU promotional league.
Ladies Soccer
Metrorez FC ladies soccer was established in th e year2023 were they participated in their first league and won the title on NMU residential futsal champions and SRC champions.
Netball
Metrorez netball ladies team is delighted to continue training and participating for the NMU leagues and tournament. They were established in the year 2021. They are currently 24th participating for madibaz netball league.
Chess
Metrorez participate for campus life every year. All student participate in all sports and formation. They have won medals and prizes for each team participating
Our Choir
Our Metrorez choir with beautiful voices that performs at most of our events. Established in 2024
ABOUT
MetroRez student accommodation is a facility with accreditation from five academic institutions in the Eastern Cape province. We are located in the CDB areas of Port Elizabeth, East London and Queenstown, with our head office in Port Elizabeth, Govan Mbeki Avenue.
